Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is a world class tourist destination with numerous activities to choose from. It is a cosmopolitan city of approximately 250,000, with five star restaurants alongside inexpensive roadside tacorias. This very walkable city offers great shopping, music, and art as well as crafts from all over Mexico. The downtown area along the beach known as the Malecon (boardwalk) features street performers, crafts and music nightly.

Climate

Puerto Vallarta is tropical, located on the same parallel as the Hawaiian Islands. The temperature averages 28 degrees C. 82 degrees F. with an average of 300 sunny days a year. The rainy season is from late June to early October.
